GPI Corporation designs and manufactures each vessel according to our customer’s specifications. Some of the specifications that our vessels are designed to are internal pressure, external pressure, specific gravity/density, seismic zone, and wind load. All of our vessels are manufactured according to ASTM D-3299, ASTM-D097 and NBS-PS-1569 specifications in addition to our customer’s specifications.
Our manufacturing process includes filament winding our vessels to ensure exact thickness as well as contact molding. We have the capability to accommodate several tank options, including: heat traced and insulated, square tanks, horizontal tanks, dome bottoms, flat bottoms, a variety of fittings, gussets and man ways, ladder and cage, and pressure vessels.
GPI can construct vessels up to 15’ in diameter and length is only limited by shipping restrictions. For large projects, sectional tanks can be constructed and erected on-site. From a few hundred gallons to capacities in excess of 50,000 gallons, GPI Corp. can construct a fiberglass vessel to meet your needs.
For vessels used in the food processing industry, we have FDA and USDA approved materials. When called upon by one of our customers, GPI Corporation designed and manufactured a unique configuration of serpentine tanks used in the cheese industry.
